Steak with salad and grilled cheese in a blackberry dressing


  • 1 steak approx. 300 g
  • 200 g Grikios halloumi-type cheese
  • 100 g mixed lettuce
  • 5 cherry tomatoes
  • 12 black olives
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 1 teaspoon black sesame seeds
  • salt, pepper
  • 1 avocado
  • dill dressing for the salad
  • blackberry dressing


Take the steak out of the refrigerator to reach room temperature. Heat up the grill pan with a spoon of clarified butter, add the steak sprinkled with salt and pepper. Fry for about two minutes on each side. The frying time depends on the cooking level and the thickness of the steak. Remove the steak from the pan, put it on a plate and cover with aluminium foil for 10 minutes to rest. On the same pan, grill the cheese on both sides. On a plate, lay out the salad, halved tomatoes, sliced onions, olives, and pieces of avocado. Sprinkle with parsley leaves, and sesame. Top with the dressing.
