Grill Cheese fingers in breadcrumbs with tzatziki


  • 1 pack Grill cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • ľ cup breadcrumbs
  • frying oil 


Cut the cheese into smaller pieces shaped like fingers. Stir the egg briefly. Pour flour and breadcrumbs on separate plates. Warm up a large quantity of oil in a pan. First coat the cheese in the flour, then in the egg, and finally in the breadcrumbs. Immediately fry the cheese fingers in hot oil, turning them over from time to time to make them golden on each side. After frying, put on a plate with a paper towel to drain off excess fat. Serve with tzatziki or cranberry jam.


  • 1 cucumber
  • 250 g Greek yoghurt
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • chopped dill
  • salt, pepper

Preparation of tzatziki:

Peel the cucumber and grate on a coarse grater, salt and mix with 1 tablespoon of wine vinegar. Set aside for 15 minutes. Peel the garlic, squeeze it through a press and mix with the olive oil. Mix with the yoghurt, the second tablespoon of vinegar, and the cucumber after pressing out the juice. Season with salt and pepper, mix with the dill.
